I would assume it is slightly worse with 60 more horses....I do have 18s with summer tires....
man I just posted a thread about the same thing last week. Its so annoying . I feel your pain. Its beyod safety. It goes off even when there is no wheel spin. Its set to sensitive. WAY TO SENSITIVE.

I think with a AWD you are not going to see that at all....at least that is what I feel like in my car

Both my 01 IS300 and 05' had this ridiculous problem. It horrible how I would try to floor it on a left turn from a dead stop and I would get scred *****less how there were all these cars coming at me and my car was barely moving, just horrible. Lexus traction control is way too sensitive to say the least. On my previous NSX, and S2000 the traction control would only kick in if it REALLY needed to.

Yup, my GS350 does it as well, it's so severe it feels like someone is slamming the brakes. PITA but you just have to learn to turn off TC before you try to take off like Magnum PI.

I push my GS350 AWD thru the turns a few times and have yet to be able to get the VSC to kick in. The only time I heard the beep is that once time I took a turn too fast in a snow storm.

I haven't noticed this in my AWD, but there is one possible solution. The modern Electronic Traction Control systems are 'adaptive', that is they monitor your driving habits and adjust accordingly to maintain an even response. I f you drive and accelerate more aggressively, the adaptive system will compensate and offer more throttle response to your input. My Infiniti G35 had this and it did respond differently after a reset.

Try rebooting the brain in your GS by pulling the neg. battery cable for 5 minutes. Then restart the car and drive hard for a while. There may be a way to do a reset thru the side panel button combinations, I just don't know about it.

I though only the transmission is adaptive in the GS, not the stability system.

^LOL, its the driver that is 'adaptive'. Like I posted before, if you floor it from a stop while making a turn, you'll invoke the nannies. If you go 1/2 throttle from a stop and then WOT while exiting or at the apex of the turn, VSC won't kick in. . .
