Default Poll: LED Emblem?

This was originally posted in the 2IS forum by hapaboy(I hope I'm not breaking some rule here), but I was intrigued by the idea and was thinking about what you guys think about putting this on our 3GS!

I think its kind of hot. I wish there was a full rear shot so we could see the entire back end of the car. With the pics its kind of hard to judge not seeing much of the car. It lets people know what the deal is!

It looks pretty nice but I think only in the back and if it can be turned on/off or automatically with the headlights?

I like it. Funny, I was just saying to the wife, how it would be nice to somehow illuminate (low light) the Lexus logo badge on the front grille of my 06 GS300 AWD. I quesitioned whether or not it would be street legal, & I did not consider the lighting could attract theft. On the other hand, if lit logo looks no different than the standard badge, & its off (not lit) when parked, short of someone tailing you, who would know if you have the standard vs lit badge? Where did you find the lit logo badge?

Lexus front logo is also illuminated on 2008 450h as well as the back logo. In fact all hybrids models now sports illuminated logo front and back. Get them from the dealer.

It looks like it has a clear, soft plastic under the emblem and im pretty sure it turns off when parked but im not sure. You'd have to be walking by it to probably see the plastic under the emblem. Um, hapaboy posted it in a post and he said he got it from Japan I believe. Hopefully it turns on only when your headlamps turn on, because I would buy it in an instant!

I remember when those indiglo honda emblems came out. This is the same thing probably, you can wire it however you want. You can wire it to your lights so it turns on when they do or to your brake lights so that it lights up when you brake.

It's definitely an eye-catcher! - Just like a gal who is wearing enough make-up to look like a raccoon!

Nothing you would want to be seen with, but you'd certainly look at it!

Is definitely on par with the 1997 trend of illuminated Ford and Honda emblems. No thanks.
