I'm not sure how many guys here have tint on their windows; but for those that do, do your windows rub against the rubber part of the window seal to cause this horrible squeeky noise?

Mine do... It just started to happen too. Funny thing is that I've had tinted windows on ALL of my cars and never encountered this before.

I don't have that issue. Have you tinted to your windows by any chance?

Yeah, all of my windows are tinted and the problem is mostly the passenger front window. It as if you're rubbing rubber against the window harshly and the friction creates that sound. Maybe i should post a video of it.

I just played with the door panel today and the window is not as bad now. I just don't know why it does that. Doesn't make any sense at all.

Try to install felt on the inside of the rubber gaskets. Maybe you have some sand or something stuck in there too. On my 08 escalade, after I took it to the beach, I had some sand in there and it was squeak.

The place I goto to get my windows tinted and the felt strips installed is Tint Zone in Rowland Heights @ the Hong Kong supermarket plaza.

I'm fairly certain that there is no debris in between. If there were debris, then my tint would be scratched up.

I had this problem as well but on all my windows. What the tint guys did was fold the inside felt so making a tight squeeze. So my windows were screeching. But then I got it fixed for $20 for all windows ^.^

How did they go about fixing that anyways? Removing the door panels?

Unsure, because I left the place while they did it, but I think they just used a simple hook and slowly pulled the felt up so it wasn't at a fold anymore. Felt is not 100% because it was folded for so long but it's pretty close to how it was when I bought the car. Before it would squeek and leave long streaks on the inside of my window =[

Seems like your window tint installer got messy with the spray solution he used and possibly got into places it shouldnt' have. I would take it back to the tint shop and have them take a look at it.
