Exclamation Buzzing too politely!

I tried to watch a DVD in my car in my garage last night for a few minutes to see what it looked like. Not very impressive, but I wanted to try it. I've been listening to DVD-Vs in the car but hadn't watch any yet. In order to watch it, I put on the emergency break a minimal amount.

Today, as I was driving down the road listening to my music at a moderate level I realized that I heard a faint buzzing in the background. I finally realized that the car was buzzing politely -- but not too loud so to disturb me in anyway -- to warn me that my emergency brake was on.

Actually, I would have much prefered a MUCH louder warning. I have the same problem with the radar parking system, which I have already found to be extremely useful. Even at its loudest settings, it can barely be heard if you have music on even at modest volumes.

I wish the seat belt buzzer was so polite, thankfully it can be turned off

And I wish it didn't feel the need to warn me with a light that the passenger airbag was there whenever a passenger is in the other seat. Well, of course, it's on! Why tell me this? Now this is a warning I wish I could turn off.

^ It's a safety feature since '07 MY. If the front passenger seat senses that the passenger is under 75lbs (like a child) it will de-activate the airbags . . .

I think you just prefer all of the warning sounds to be much louder.

The blinkers before and now the parking brake.

Is the red warning light that tells you that your parking brake's still on hard to see due to placement on the instrument panel like how you couldn't see the blinker arrows?
