Wheel Lock/Key??
Taking my GS into the dealer tommorrow morning for the brake pad replacement and 1st oil change. Remembered that the stock wheels have a lock on them. Can't locate the key. Honestly can't remember what the heck it looks like, where I put it, or did I not receive one? I'm hoping the dealer has some master key to get the wheels off.
To make matters worse, I opened my trunk in my garage(the garage door was closed), not thinking...my trunk door hit the garage door hinge and put a nice 2 inch scratch all the way to primer and a nice paint chunk out of my lower trunk area. Feeling pretty damn stupid tonight.

Your wheel lock is usually put with your spare tire in the back. It should be in a little black velcro case either placed on top of the spare tire tray or inside.
The dealer does have a master set of the wheel lock so it's not necessary to have it ready. If it is a non OEM wheel lock, and it did not come with your car, you will need to locate it.

if you're taking it to a dealership, no need to worry about finding your key in your car. They never use it anyways, they have all the keys just sitting in their maint. boxes. They use those.

Yup, no need for your key. BUT you should know where it is. Mine was in a Velcro holder attached to the bar that you would use to lower and raise the jack with.
By the why, yeah the dealer has a set of master keys... 10 combinations to be exact. I lost the key to my dad's rx300 a year ago and when I went to the dealer I asked them. They took out the kit and checked to see which one it was. Found it and removed it myself. lol

Yeah like everyone else said it's in the lil velcro pouch, the dealership has a master set just in case, and they sell extra keys (the one here anyway) for 18 bucks and some change last time I bought one...

I'm gonna cross post over here to see if I can generate more responses. My opinion is that wheel locks are more trouble than they are worth especially on factory wheels.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Got the brake pad and free 1st oil change done. Drove home a ES 350 for a loaner. Picked up my GS...they washed it??...didn't see any scratches..yet..it's to cloudy of a day to really see. I also found my key...right where you guys said it would be in its little black velcro packet. Thanks again.

In an event you ever misplace your wheel lock, you can order it through McGard or your local Lexus dealer. You can find the ID number for your wheel lock together with your owners manual portfolio.

I washed my GS yesterday, and found wheel damage on the outer part of the wheel. I had noticed on the receipt that the dealership did a tire rotation....not sure if that's a part of the 1st free oil change. The wheel has pretty obvious chipping where the wheel meets the tire. I called my service guy and he agreed that there was no damage, because he did a walk-around to before my GS went into their garage. He then tells me he needs to speak to his manager(here we go with the runaround I'm telling myself). He calls me back in less than 5 minutes and tells me, the manager said to take care of it, and get me a new wheel.
I'm so far very satisfied with my dealers customer service. After reading some nightmare stories, it made me nervous about taking my GS in for service.

Glad everything worked out for you. Sucks that a new wheel had to be replaced already. I recently took my GS in for TPMS programming and my adviser asked me if I wanted it to be washed... I SAID NO! Yet, it still went in. Damn it, I got it back and saw some grease/oil on my front bumper and was like "WTF?" Wiped it off and left. Next time I will just make a sticky and post it in the car. "NO WASH" lol
