Hey bushwack, there is a way to get the phone paired with the car if it isn't working. After you go through the pairing process, and the phone is paired with the car, but the car doesn't recognize it yet, make a phone call from the phone. It should connect to the car, and you should be set. I also agree with roz on the updates... Those definitely help if they are available. Hope this helps you out.
