yeah they do rub in the front and in the back, u will have to take out the plastic in the front wheel well and it will also rub in the back but u can put spacers in the back. 22x8.5 is prob the biggest that will fit

I had the same problem wanne 22 but everybody told me it was gone rub and I was gonna have a ****y ride, so in My Opinion you should go with 20x8.5 front & 20x10 back and a lil drop and you gonne have a mean look

You see, I hate these type of comments because it takes us back to point A once again. What mods have to be made exactly so this doesn't happen?

I spoke with a guy at D2Technik out of Cali and they did a lexus gs on 22's slammed. The guy told me if i wanted 22's and lower the car it would take a lot of work (rolling fenders, cutting fender liner out, exc.) He said if you put 22's on it without lowering it you will have a small amount of work. He said you will still rubb a little so you would have to do a little work like modify the fender trim by cutting it out!. My opinion im going to do a little work on mine and run the 22's! The 20's look to small in my opinion even with a drop! My last lexus with 20's was dropped and the wheels just look small! The Lexus IS has most people putting 20's on it now! Its your car and you can either do a little work to it and ride 22's or put 20's with a drop and not do any work! Hope this helps!

my brother was checking out the white gs on 22 from d2technik at a show in LA... the owner told him extensive mods for were made for 22 to fit... but then again he was slammed...last wweek i met up a few guys at the ale house was chilllin outside...a guy comes up pulllin on a 3rd gen GS on 22s..MHTs... it didnt look dropped though...so he drove by and we asked him if he rubbed and offsets tires size ETC>..he told me they were dropped on eibachs... guessing it was just a just a inch...then i asked him for a ride....it was 4 of us in all...better than i expected...we did 2 U turns and he took it up to 60....rides a lot stiiffer than 20s but no signs of rubbing...well here were the specs.......22x8.5 with 42 offset tires will be 235 30 22.....rears 22x9.5 with 45 offset tires 255 30 22...they will look like rubber bands but it wont rub,...

i had a 2000 GS300 with 22s and mines rubbed like hell in the back i had to put spacers in the back not the front. my front was fine. then i had them on 06 GS300 and they still rubbed. now i have them on my 08 GS350 and they still rub in the back. i had to put spacers on the rear. i have 22x8.5 with 235/30/22 nitto which is dam near as thin as u can go w/o riding on the rim. what size are your 22'
