Default Tire Brand

Good day guys. I was looking at my tires this morning and trying to compare them to other pics on the forum. It seems like my tires are fatter them others I see. So I was wondering if the brand had anything to do with it. Can the people with 20" and staggered setup post their size and brand. I'm trying to figure out if I will have rubbing issues when I lower my car.

I have: 20x8.5/20x10 235/45/20 and 275/30/20 nitto NT555 extreme

Thanks for any help.

I see a lot of members are asking about tire size. I think if we post size/brand and wheel setup (problems/issues) it will help everyone.

hi phattban

is it rubbing when you go over bumps, and is it rubbing on the 'fender'?

Fenders had some shaving done as a precaution. It only rubs if I have passengers in the back and if I roll over a dip/bump in the road. otherwise while driving solo, no rubbing. I can try to see how much my car was lowered.

i am definetely running a 245/30 front and a 285/25 rear. I will not stand for rubbing issues, not on a 50k car. The sizes listed fall right into spec. dont be affraid of 285/25 the profile is a rubberband, but arent they all. They will fit and never rub with any spring. Go with a falken tire, relatively fat side wall

I run 245/30 fronts and a 275/30 rear I believe... As for Falken's they tend to have a 'tapered' sidewall which usually assist in clearance with the wheel well.

I may try the nitto invo again. Ihad them on the old g35. thry are quiet and grip really well, and the tread design looks like no other tire ever made. Nice . The falken is really the only other choice unless I want to pay 1500 for tires.

actually I think the toyo t1r are available in that size but I hated them on my prev car. I live in AZ, I dont need rain tires. All of that missing rubber on the pattern reduces contact patch and allows for an unreal amount of tread flex.

I run the Toyo T1Rs... I actually love them on the Lexus. when I had them on my Mercedes, they only lasted 5000 miles.. that's not a typo, they only lasted me that long, the rears anyways. so I went through 3 sets of rears before the fronts needed replacing. As for the Nitto Invo, I never had the chance to try those out
