Default Replacing a lost key

My key fob fell into the ocean. How much is a replacement key for the 2007 GS 350?

Also, is it safe for me to buy a used key fob on eBay if it was previously programmed for a 2006 GS?

First of all........i have no idea how much a replacement key is???? $250..$500...$1000??
HOPEFULLY you saved the little aluminum piece with a # on it that was attached to one of the two keys you recieved when you bought the car!!!??? The dealer HAS to have that # to reprogram the new key you buy, whether you buy it from them or on eBay!! My advice to you is, you should probly buy the key from Lexus. Even though you can bet your *** its more expensive, maybe that'll stop you from dropping your $50k+ key in the freakin ocean again!!!

You better hope you have that # plate man.........or else your screwed!

I paid like $350 for a programmed key from Lexus. Lesson learned. BTW i found it in a pair of shorts i had forgot I threw on for like 5 minutes and then changed my mind. Anyway, I now have 2 of em. I think all they needed was my registration or something like that. Don't know what plate your talkin bout?
