Default My New 07 GS350 after totaling my 06 GS300

Greetings Lexus lovers!

Just picked up my new 2007 GS350 from Tustin Lexus, Glacier Frost, with black leather/Red Walnut trim (No Mark Levinson)

I am very happy. Great improvements from the 06 to the 07. I have listed my thoughts about both cars below:

06 GS300 (purchased May 06, totaled with 35k miles on it)
- Glacier Frost with Blk Leather/Red Walnut and Lexus Spider Wheels, Dealer/Factory Sirius radio (9 months free) and no Mark Levinson
- purchased for $48,500
- Excellent car
- 5.1 Navigation
- held its value well, car insurance paid me 41k for the total loss
- stock sound system was weak and I would have sprung for ML, but they could not find an ML that was Glacier with blk leather.
- Sirius antenna was on inside of car near the rear-view mirror.
- totaled when other driver ran red light and I t-boned him. All 4 front airbags deployed.

07 GS350 (purchased Sept 2, 2007)
- GLacier Frost with Blk Leather/Red Walnut and Spider wheels
- $47,000
- obvious power gains with the better engine
- 6.1 Navigation (but I am in process of getting that 6.1 DVD with 5.1 loading.kwi file.)
- came with XM radio (3 months free) and the antenna is in the shark fin
-I need to figure out how to get Sirius integrated instead of XM
- stock stereo system sounds much more dynamic.
- I think there are buttons on the lights for rear passenger seats where there were not buttons on the 06
- the CD player plays WMA/MP3 files!!!! This is not a Mark Levinson and I made a CD of about 50mp3's and the player plays them perfectly.

Good to hear that you made it out unhurt. Excellent choice of color combo on your new ride! I too have a Glacier Frost on black with Navi/ML. Wished I had an O7 with the extra power and 5th Navi though!

Yes, I did get a better deal. I think it is because it was later in the year and Lexus dealerships in SoCal were promoting the "Summer Sales Event" and they had certain numbers to hit.

As for the guy who got the Glacier with Black Interior and ML...great find! I was not able to find that after calling all Western US dealerships.

It's 10:34pm, and I am on my 4th disc. I am trying to burn data discs for my mps/wma player to play. However, I am having a few issues. The deck is recognizing only some of the files, I think it has to do with the bitrate of the mp3 file.

Default Here is my new GS350 (w/o spider wheels)

Spider wheels were not in stock when I bought the car, but I am going back on Wednesday for them to put them on. What I like most about the Spider wheels is that in most light (and almost always at night), they match the Glacier Frost paint job.

I temporarily have chrome which look horrible and are already filthy dirrrrty after just three days. Can't wait to get them off...sorry chrome lovers.
