yes it is normal. if you've never had a tinted car, it will take some time to get used to. it is worse in the beginning when the film is still adhering to the back window. the reason those reflections exist is because the tint is a film laid over raised defrost lines (as opposed to factory tints where the glass is actually stained/made darker before defroster lines are put on -- like many SUVS, including the RX). no matter where you have it done or what material you use, there is always a small gap between film and window on those lines so you get reflections off those lines. i don't know what you mean by daytime - normally you can't tell anything is different during the day. nighttime the reflection is there becuase of headlights in your rearview mirror.
this is a normal phenomenon and over time you will not notice it anymore. i've had tinted windows on almost every car (except the SC) and the first time i was annoyed at this, but now i don't even think about it.
if it is REALLy bad for some reason, there is a chance they didn't smooth it out enough. after the tint has had a full two weeks, it should look fairly flawless around those defrost lines and the reflection should be very minimal.
