Default Driver side AFS doesnt work

My driver side headlight does not adjust when I turn the car on. What I mean is that when you first turn on the car, both lights turn down and auto adjust when leveled out. Now when I do turn on my car only the passenger side turns down and auto adjust. Has anyone ran into this issue?? I believe this started when I hit a pothole pretty hard yesterday.

I brought my car to get it checked out by the dealer and they said nothing was wrong with it. The AFS light does not flash but the driver side headlight still does not work properly. I can see it especially at night when I turn on the car. The driver side barely moves down and then get stuck, while the passenger side fully goes down. But they do the both come back up and level out. Does anyone know what might be wrong. Or does anyone know a shop in the OC that might able to figure this out. Thanks.

Is your Adaptive Front Lighting Indicator (AFS) going off on the dash?

Actually no, it's perfectly fine. I even disabled it and restarted the car a couple times. Nothing. I'm prettty sad about it man..I bought this car thinking I wouldn't have to bring it back to the dealer EVER again..

THanks for the help man, I couldn't find much resolve on this website. There are people who have the problem but no fixes..

Question: Other than the start up, is it functioning properly? i.e. Is it turning along with the turns in the road as you drive and does it respond when you are on an incline or decline?

No it doesn't turn at all whenever I make a right..It's just stuck facing upwards. On the way to the dealer right now, I'll get back to you.

Well then. I guess it was just out of adjustment. I don't undersatnd how it lost the centered position anyway. It doesn't make any sense. I didn't touch it at all nor did I hit a pothole/speedbump. oh well. it's fixed now..hope it doesn't happen again.
