Default Some questions from a new lexus owner

I recently purchased the 07' GS 350 AWD (GFM), but waiting on delivery. This is the first new car that I have ever purchased and had a few questions:

1. I was told that when the car arrives someone will go over additional options I can buy. I know i will get the Clear bra option, but are there any other options I should look into?

2. When going to inspect the vehicle, are there specific things to look for (i.e. warning signs that the car might have issues)?

Thank you for your help.

Did you special order it or it is in stock? If you speical ordered, it will not come in at all...

Options you should consider:.
1. Yes, clear-bra is a must!!!
2. If your come with 18" wheels, then you should get the "road hazard warranty."
3. Finally, if you are able to to get "windshield warranty" GET IT! Becasue, somehow the windshield gets scratch very easily.

Well, since the vehicle is brand new. You will not know any problem(s) till you drive it for awhile (ie rattles, tire noise).

I don't think it was a special order. They didn't have the color i wanted, but had a shipment coming in with the color i wanted. Thanks for the input. I decided to just get the 17s the vehicle comes with because the price for the rims and tires was too much. I figure i can purchase tires and rims at a later time. Thanks for the info on the windshield warranty.

Normally your insurance covers your windshield and it is just a nominal fee to replace.

For instance I get 4 complete replacements / year and unlimited chip repairs.

Give your insurance a call and definetly start getting that coverage if you don't already have it. I believe mine is something like $35/6 months, and is definetly worth every penny.

Normally the "warranty on the windshield" is a waste as your insurance already covers it.
Just check into what your insurance covers and doesn't.
