Phone Book Transfer!
Hi Guys, My LG phone from verizon would not transfer any phone book data so I took it to a wireless store and got it done for $20. They transfered my phone to a Sony Ericson and did the whole thing in 15 min. Good Luck!!
I have an LG (EN-V) phone and i cant get my phonebook to transfer either. i thought i was doing something wrong. So your saying all I have to do is take my LG to the Verizon store and they'll do it for $20??
this is probably a stupid question.......but do you still have an LG or did you change phones to a Sony Ericson? I dont get it?

Basically for the entire phone book transfer, the Sony Ericsson phones work. For $20, you can pick up a very cheap used SE phone on eBay delivered, pop your SIM card in (assuming you have a GSM phone, for Verizon, Sprint PCS, Alltel, Nextel, you're out of luck), and transfer all the contacts over then you're done.
I find myself calling only a few when I'm driving so I didn't even bother finding an SE phone.

My new Blackberry Curve transfered the whole phone book. But what's the point, if you can't access it while driving? I have speed dials configured for about 12 numbers that I call fairly frequently. For others, I just use my phone's phone book to dial out. One of the greatest features of the Bluetooth implementation in the GS, as opposed to my previous car, is that when I use my phone to dial out, the call goes through the car's handsfree system.
