Am I stupid... or is there no way to manually add a contact and phone number to the car's internal phonebook?

I've figured out how to import via bluetooth (had to switch back to an old phone to do this), but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get a new phone number in there otherwise.

I'd be happy to say that I am stupid if someone knows how to get this done.

 

Isn't it under SETTINGS and then PHONEBOOK and choice of manual input there?

 

It's "Register."

I don't know why they chose that word instead of "New Entry" or "Add."

 

I'll give it a try tonight... Just a quick question though. Both you guys have 350's which means you have the next generation Nav unit. Any idea if that's different than mine? (I have an 06)

My 07 came with a separate manual for the BT/navigation/voice command, did yours?

That or put in your VIN on Lexus.com and you can download the manual in case if you don't have one.
