I have had my car since Dec 06. I never bothered with the transferring my phone book because I have Verizon and knew I did not have that option. So I either used my cell phone or the one-touch to make calls. But, recently while in my husbands 07, he got a call and the screen displayed the caller id information. He then showed me that he had manually entered names into his system. I decided to enter a few numbers manually into my system so I can have the caller id info displayed. But there is no way to manually enter numbers in the 06 model. I have searched my owners manual and gone to Lexustalk. Am I missing something?

The 06 has gen 4 while the 07 has gen 5.

I'm not familiar with the 06's, hopefully someone else can chime in!

Might need to do some more research...I have Verizon (razr) and was able to tranfer my phone book over to my 2006 gs 430.

I had to do it one at a time but it only took an hour or so...

I think I could do about 2 or so numbers a minute...
