Default K&N Airfilter

The other day I ran into this on K&N's website and decided to order it. I searched high and low, Fujita wanted to borrow the car to set up the intake but I didnt want them to beat up my car on test runs.

I have been emailing the Fujita guys for a while and they are way behind on releasing a
2007+ GS system IMO.... I may pass on these guys and get the K&N instead..... let us know how it goes Fuji!

I haven't installed it yet, I will post pictures if I get it installed this weekend. As for the Fujita intake, I was hoping to support Fujita since my last name is Fujita. They need to get on top of things and release new products with new cars. Their loss not mine. Thanks K&K for staying on top of things.

I'm not so sure about 18+ horse, but being on the DYNO and all, we will see.

Anyone know if the K&N Complete cold-air intake system works on the GS450h, looking at the installation instructions it doesn't seem to be an issue. Someone installed it on a Hybrid already ?

My K&N will be here by Thursday.... will report back once I have it installed. I wonder how optimistic their +18.11 HP rating is... heck, even 12 or 15 more HP would be nice.... should be interesting to see how it compliments my Tanabe exhaust....

In my experience, K&N's rating has always been pretty reliable. It's been consistant on the 2nd Gen GS.

I finally got it in yesterday. Sounds pretty throaty once you get on it, otherwise it's pretty quiet when your crusing around town.

Cool...... so, any seat of the pants difference? Better acceleration off the line? Also, any
installation tips / gotchas, or was it a snap? Thanks.

nice upgrade. I didn't know this was available. I went with the drop in filter instead.
