Is there any preparation necessary before I have Clear Bra installed? Am I supposed to wash and wax the area? I'm going to Aerotect. Do they take care of all that?

You don't have to do anything. They will take care of that. Afterwards, you can wash and wax over the entire area.Originally Posted by Avid1

Francisco will clean the application area of your vehicle with a dishwashing liquid and water to strip it of any waxes. Just make sure your car is clean and dirt free. This helps Francisco install your clear bra faster.

That's not a good idea considering wax repels liquids and adhesives. Clear bra applied directly on a freshly waxed surface will cause the clear bra to either not adhere to the paint or give you peeling problems in it's lifetime. I'm pretty sure your installer prepped the paint prior to installing it on your vehicle.Originally Posted by Jace7
Before I did mine, not that it's a requirement, but I had it waxed.

Yup.. I agree with flipside. They still need to strip it off before installing the clearbra. I'd wait on the wax and do it after the clearbra is installed.
