Default Tire Recommendations to replace the Run Flats?

Looking for recommendations on tires to replace my stock runflats. I have 30K miles on my GS300AWD and it is time to replace the tires now that spring is here (I switch to Blizzaks in the winter).

I don't like the runflats, too noisy and rough. What have others replaced them with? I am just looking for a good summer tire - I don't track and do not have any suspension mods.

Thanks.

When new, I took off the run-flats and went the Michelin MXV4 S8's All weather - Best Ride and Quiet Tire from Michelin for this Car. I have 4,000 miles on them so far, Including a $1300 Mile Roadtrip.

So far - So good!

If you want a great tire and don't want to spend a fortune, consider Khumo ASX. I use Khumo track and street tires on my Porsche...have for years. I also ran them on my Mercedes. Just put a set of ASX's on my 06 GS to replace the incredibly noisy Advan's. Like butter! Very quiet, 400 wear rating, excellent ride feel and handling. No high dollar advertising budget to subsidize either.

I have 28K on mine, still have a few thousand miles to go before replacement but I plan to use Michelin Pilot HX MXM4.

Mine came without a spare and I'm having trouble finding one. The dealer hasn't been much help. They say I need to buy a kit but it came with the jack kit. The only thing I need is a tire, wheel and hold down bracket.

Has anyone had to buy a spare? How much should I expect to pay?

Default Tire Rack

See TireRack.com. You can get an estimate of the cost there.

Mich PS/2 on my M5 were quite good.

I put Goodyear F1 GS D3s on my 330ci, they were also quite good. I really like the aggressive tread pattern.

Keep in mind that both cars are more sports car than a Lexus...
