Default dvd overide help!

Hi, I'm putting some instruction together for a friend to do the overide for my gs350 07'. Can someone please let me know if the instruction here http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums...pic=24442&st=0 is the same for the 07' on taking the navigation apart.

Also, can anyone give me detail instruction on what wires to cut or to mod for the 07', what switch to use etc. And can someone let me know that it is success modding the dvd overide on the 07 gs350. I don't see much talk about it on this forum. thanks in advance for the reply

I highly recommend you to buy the override kit rather than cutting wires...

I bought my kit at prestigioussociety.com

You can reference this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=317601

It's good that you ordered from PS. They will give you detailed, clear step by step instructions and it will work for your car. And if you can't get anyone to help, keep in mind that it's easier than it seems it would be. I'm not a hard core do it yourselfer at all and I was able to do it by doing homework, studying the directions, going slow. Still only took about an hour.

Very True... Just have another friend to help you out so one of you can hold the Head Unit and the other can plug override kit in. Took us about an hour also.
