Neo, yes it does.... alot of guys are running 245/35 and 275/30 and almost always without shaving the rear fenders are rubbing... i have about 3/4 finger gap all the way and no rubbing at all.. as far as the rubber goes, yes it's definitely not a whole lot but i tell you what with the JIC coilovers the car rides incredible... I feel the road more because of the tire thickness but it really does ride really good.. I know alot of you guys won't believe me but it almost rides better than stock... just my $.02

After tire sizes, it depends also on the brand of tires...For example, michellin ps2's, dunlops and nitto nt-555's run on the bigger side with the same size as say a pirelli p-zero or toyo t1-r. So tire manufacturer and correct pad height on the wheel make a big difference!!

Makes sense, your tire sizes are much more closer to stock than the 35 and 30 series. I think I will change to your aspect ratio when it's time to change tires. I was kind of scared that it would be too thin but I guess between the 35/30 and 30/25 series tires it doesn't matter, the wheel will bend regardless!

That's pretty much right.... But I guarantee you will not rub with these size tires...I have Toyo T1R's... Just in case you wanted to know the brand....
