Since I have a GS300AWD, maybe I'll just wait another year and get the 2007 map update. $235 or so is too much for better mapping. If I want better maps I want to wait until they really add more data to them.

 

They also typically add new & updated points of interest.

I personally wouldn't update the very next year (new buyers might want to negotiate to get this thrown in by your salesperson) but every other year unless I had a real reason to (such as a recent highway completion near somewhere I drove regularly).
