haven't heard from you in awhile.

 

yeah i came back and see the light...the new gs is growin on me now and since i don't see to many around i like it now..and plus need a family car too..how's your car doing?

 

haven't driven her in awhile...

i still need you to fix my passenger side headlight!

i was planning on letting her go but i decided to push out another 100k before i decide to sell her.

planning on going old school with her... tte lip, l-tuned sides, l-sportline rear.

 

it will look awesome..remind me of my old car before when i have the tte lip and lsportline rear..well i remember paul tellin me that u were plannin on gettin a m3 ..but i guess u sticking with your lexus now ....so time to s/c or turbo

 

yeah... your old car is actually my inspiration along with some other members

s/c or turbo is probably a bit of a stretch... something my pocket's aren't deep enough for

but i'm planning on redoing the exterior first: tte lip, l-tuned sides, l-sportline rear, possibly new exhaust (but i really love the blitz), rims, and fixing the headlights!

then i'm planning on going suspension before i do engine: front and rear trd sways, front and rear stb, daizen bushings, tom's 6 piece rear link.

and then i'll try and work on the drivetrain and engine...

 

22 yrs. gs350 first car. split cash with parents.

 

29 years old, Bought the GS350 last weekend. The 350 engine is great, Direct Port Injection is the next big thing.

Your probable not too far off SGT. Given monetary considerations by age, those in their 20's usually, not always, but usually aren't thinking of spending GS350 money. I'm 54 and have been into the go fast mode most of my life. GTO's, Road Runners, .... ie.. muscle car days... when you could buy a GTO fully loaded for less then $5,000.

 

I don't know if this has already been discussed on this forum, but I saw this information on the J.D. Power web site. Scroll to the bottom of the page to "Buyer Demographics". Sorry if it's duplicate info.

The J.D. Power's age distribution is more like the correct data from Toyota where 35 and younger only contribute 23%.
This poll is heavily skewed as most CL members are relatively young.

 

speaking of our ages...anyone see the Elvis Costello Lexus add? funny that someone I listened to in school is now doing comercials for Lexus...I'm 48

 

im 25, i had an 2002 gs430 when i was 21 sold it for this one 2006 gs300 when i when to trade it up for this, they was willing to give me 14k but i turn it down and sold it myself for 21k 2002 gs430 lexus with 110k miles with nav loaded paid 54k
