Default Question on De-badge on emblems

I wanted to take off the GS 300 badge along with the LEXUS. I know the "L" logo has holes behind them but am unsure if there are any holes behind the GS300 and LEXUS letters. any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

Letter 'G' has hole behind it....

I found out hard way... I broke the letters in the process...
Dealer want $42 for repalcement emblem... 'GS350' only...
Maybe I'll have it filled... it will cost me $100...

It actually gives you a few extra horsepower.... J/K, I like the smooth clean look it gives the rear.

pretty much like the benefit of body kits -- all about personal preference

Well, it can fool German car bigots into expressing admiration for your car...until you tell them it is a Lexus.

I've been doing it since my Supra era... becoming a habit for me...

It's like wearing a name tag when everyone around you knows your name already!!
Bugs me as much as the license plate frame with dealer's name on it!!

At least the stinkin' frame you can remove. It's those a-hole dealers that stick their company emblem on your car and it's not even straight... that really sucks the big one. Who's car is this? Did you pay me for this free advertisement space?

I like to take mine off of my cars aswell... Although on this car I think I'm going to get the black pearl emblems and put them on. I think they'll look pretty sick on my matador red...

There are two holes on each side.. nothing behind the AWD though.. The holes are very small though. I filled with bondo , wet sanded, put a few coats of touchup paint on.. wet sanded again and polished to a shine with 3M rubbing compound.. It's like they were never there.. I removed everything but the Lexus logo on the rear, looks so much cleaner IMO..

This is related to Re-Badging -
Many times, the people that bought the 6 cylinder model hope that they can fool unknowing people into thinking the car is a V8 model. I've seen this done on the SC and GS cars. I've also seen people who have the latest generation Toyota 4 Runner who have installed the V8 emblem in the front grill, when under the hood there is the V6. I know its been done on other brands of vehicles also.
Kind of ridiculous to me, but whatever.
