Can't select my SAT1-3 (Sirius)
I was driving to the store tonight and listening to some FM stations and wanted to see what was on Sirius and tried switching to SAT1, 2 and 3 and it wouldn't even let me. It would stay on AM and not switch, like it didn't exist anymore. I tried with the steering wheel controls and console controls with no avail. Has anyone experienced this before? Thanks.
yeah i've experienced it a couple of times in the early days after we got it installed. i don't know what happened, and it would work again after turning the car off and back on. after the 1st month or so, it never happened again.
I've had the car since May and this is the first time that I could not select my satellite radio. Even after 2 or 3 off/ons, it would not come back. I really hope that I get it back in the morning.
Well, still no luck with the SAT. I called my dealership and they said that I'd have to bring it in, but they are backlogged until later next week. It almost seems like something reset it and it thinks that Sirius isn't even there. I don't think that it'll be an easy fix for me. Any ideas? Thanks!
it could be a loose connection in your wiring harness. ive been having problems and ive isolated it to the harness. im going to get in touch with the dudes at sewell lexus to see if they can email me a wiring diagram for i can redo the harness.
I was guessing that the wiring/cabling may have come loose. Do you know if the SAT antenna just plugs in to an auxilary or satellite port or if it's part of a wired molex type connector? I'm still planning on having the dealership fix it. I'd hate to mess up my radio console by ripping it out.

Unfortunately, I've been on business travel for the past 2 weeks and will be out for another 1 to 2 weeks. I'll take it to the dealership once I'm back in town. I'll also see if I can get a shark fin antenna while I'm at it. After emailing my dealership, they said that they haven't even ordered any GS350 parts so we'll have to see in a few weeks.

I finally scheduled an appt for the 26th. I have to leave it overnight and possible more for them to do the repairs since they only do audio work with the night crew. I'll keep you guys posted.
Ok...I had to postpone my September appt and finally took it in last night and got it back this morning. It turns out that the Sirius tuner itself was defective so they swapped it with a new one and it works perfectly now. The new tuner definitely acquires the satellite faster and is more robust when recovering from driving under a bridge.
