Default Vaistech SLI iPOD intergration

Has anyone in New York hads this installed in thier vehicle? Does anyone know where in New York I can have this done? I would prefer from a location or someone that has already worked on a Lexus 3GS. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Maybe consider doing it yourself? It's pretty darn easy.

There's a thread on how to remove the HU, and then from there it's just 'plug the wires into where they fit' (sorta).

I'd help you if I were in NY, but sadly I'm all the way across the country. Good luck with that though.

I have a Lexus ES350 and just had an SLI unit installed by Tweeter Mobile from Danbury, CT. They did a great job. It was the first time they ever installed a VAIS unit and were very impressed with the product. Try seeing if a Tweeter is nearby.

i just installed the SLI myself yesterday. it was a snap with the directions from this forum - one thread for how to remove the wood trim and HU, and then another thread with actual SLI placement and install. it was MUCH easier than doing it in my RX and prob takes about 45 min from start to finish. (in case you are wondering, i'm female and i have no real experience in taking apart car parts other than fiddling with my RX.)

anyway, it was surprisingly easy and quite satisfying to do it. plus you can decide where you like the iPod cable to run, which is nice.
