Default HID upgrade....side markers?

I was wondering if anyone upgraded their stock HID's for a 6000K, 8000K, 10k, or 12K? Also, if anyone slapped on side markers? I'm in the process of doing these upgrades, and was wondering if anyone might have tips? What is the bulb size of the low beam? I can only find D4S on the sylvania site. That doesn't really help.

6000k is the max you should go..... anything higher is so blue and so dim, they are useless

i think low beam is d4s, it's a new hid setup i believe, only on 3gs and 2is right now

I believe the d4s bulbs available now only come in 4800k (I believe that's what the stock bulbs are) and 5800k.

don't really feel like spending the cash to get them though.
