I'm sure if someone has, we'd have heard about it. Unless they want to keep it a secret...

EG8, how much horsepower are you looking to achieve?

Doubt anyone has done it yet, but TOM'S has a supercharger kit or "hyper compressor" for the 350 and 430 engines of the 3GS.

I don't how you would get your hands on it.. or if it's even possible. I just know that they have it.

Good luck dude.

[QUOTE=kissbang;2398634]EG8, how much horsepower are you looking to achieve?[QUOTE]

I dont even have a third gen yet. If I were to get one I would have to have FI. Im a boost junkie. Im just wondering to what extent people will take it. Ideally I would have around 550-600 hp at the crank. Its not likely that the stock motor and trans would take that much. That compressor is sick though. I want to see someone else forge the path. Ive done that enough times now. I want to know what its going to take to get past the OBD8000 LOL

I'Ve talked to Steve on the Toms compressors, the problem is the ECU. When you buy the kit it comes with intercooler, piping compressor and ECU, Right now they only have them for the Japan models. Everything does bolt up but whats the use without the reprogrammed ECU. I know he's spoken with Tom's Racing a few times about this but they want a firm order of at least 10 units since the R&D will be needed on the USA ECU.

Yes we can get them since were the USA distibutor for Tom's Racing, price was around $8000.00 and that's with a warranty.I didn't think the price was half bad considering Tom's Racing works hand in hand with Toyota, the components in the full kit and warranty

The last I saw the price on the SC was like 8500.

For that price, and thats probably not including labor why not save your money and buy a car thats made to go fast in a straight line?

No offense to anyone if its your idea thing to do.
