Default Sunroof question

On my GS300 AWD, the manual states that you can open and close the sunroof by pushing the button for approx one second and it will open completely or close completely. This doesn't work on my car. I often have to play with the controls to get it completely closed. Is this normal or is my car just "special?"

Thanks,

RonK

Sounds like your car is "special", but not in a good way.

The sunroof is one-touch auto open/close. You shouldn't have to hold down the button for more than a second or two.

if it's not working, take it into lexus and have them program it. it might not be programmed yet. something they SHOULD have done when you bought the car.

Are you refering to the buttons on the key fob or the open-close button inside the car?

The key fob is programmable to operate the sunroof in multiple eays. The open-close buttons inside the car should work without programming.

I'm talking about the buttons on the headliner control panel. I'll take it to the dealer to have them check it out.

Thanks
