Hello all I noticed some changes to the 2006 GS I got my first GS in May/June 2005, and now the replacement my 06 GS with a newer 06 GS and there’s different here and there, first rattles are gone? Could this be? second the leather on the steering wheel is much different softer thinner, feels good but it is much different not as nice looking but feels nicer, seats are the same leather thou. Third you know all those puffs u get on the plastic door panel around the lower part of the door way. It’s a different plastic harder doesn’t get nicks as easy. The Tires on the 17inch ware Yokohama and now Dunlop, nice upgrade. They also have a hole new seatbelt system for Drivers seat only in the GS as of July 05 and a fix it for it as u saw the recall.


Just thought I share these mid year fix its already done to the GS.

PS dose anyone know who to rise the Bluetooth out bound sound, thx..

 

Can you tell us if those dunlops are run-flats? What dunlops, exactly do you have? Are the new tires quieter in terms of road noise? Is the ride more firm?

Not sure about the bluetooth - have you tried turning up the volume on the phone itself? I don't think you can do much

 

Give it some time, the rattles will come after envirnomental cycling.

My tires are Dunlop SP Sport 5000M DSST. They are run-flats.

Interestingly, the car came with a doughnut spare as well.

 

Excellent! That 'cheat code' also works on the Asia Pacific version, unlike the nav lockout...got my blue tooth volume at +2 and it is much better!
