Anyone try this out yet? It will enable DVD in motion and Bluetooth dialing without cutting wires.

For a moment I was all excited, but this still doesn't allow you to input navigation commands while the car is in motion, it says he will supply "...destination input temporary overide instructions", which we all already have.

 

Yeah, if it also enabled inputting directions while in motion, I'd probably buy it in a heartbeat. I never bother to do the temporary override as I'm just too lazy.

 

A wee bit pricey at $250. I'm guessing that it's just a harness insert, which would be four connectors and some wire.

I'd pay $50-75 for such a thing, but not $250.

 

If it still involves ripping out the console and getting behind the nav screen, count me out. If I'm already in that far, I'll take the chance and cut the wires myself. The only harness I'd consider is something that might go under the seat, for example!
