Actually, I performed tons of research and I ordered a set of staggered iforged Aero wheels 20x8.5 and 20x10. I am going to get a set of tires that will yield a 0% difference (front/rear). Based upon other owners experiences/setups and working with Motorsport Techniques this combo should fit perfect without rubbing.
Initially I was debating on purchasing a set of GS430 stocks on ebay but that's only +1 and I wanted something unique, feasible and tasteful.
I tried to start a thread about AWD tires but nobody replied. The stock tires on the AWD version are Dunlop 5000 DSST 225/50/17 mounted on a 17x7.5 wheel. Dunlop has the tires spec'd as follows on a 17x8 wheel:
Overall Diameter (OD) = 27.1"
Note: OD is not effected by the width of the wheel. Changes of .5" in wheel width effect the tire section width by .2"
The stock tires on a GS430:
OD = 25.6" - 25.8"
This is a 1.3"-1.5" difference in OD. If AWD's were to upgrade to GS430 wheels with the OEM spec'd tires would it effect the AWD speedometer?

Wow I didn't think the AWD tires were that big.My Pirellis are about an inch smaller than stock and match better with the 430.I am sure the speedo will be off a bit,they can be recalabrated to match a specific tire size.I am trying to sell my Ziniks/Pirelli combo anyway I want to do a stagger set up.
Make sure you post pics of the Aeros when you get them.I think they will give you a real strong sporty look.

Yeah, 27.1" looks like a really big number considering the average OD is approx. 25.9" for a 225/50/17. Keep in mind, I got that spec directly from the Dunlop website. I contacted them to verify if it's correct, waiting for a response. It's possible that it is 27.1" because of the sidewall.
Also, the section width is 10.4" on a 17x8, that would be 10.2" on a 17x7.5 (stock wheel). If the Dunlop spec's are correct the stock tires on the AWD are significantly larger in OD and section width compared to the RWD stock tires, even the 18x8 (245/40/18) GS430 stocks.
Using a tape measure I went to inspect the diameter and it is not close to 27.1". However, that could be due to many factors (my tape measure, how i'm measuring and the angle I am looking at the measurements). Lastly, the static load radius on a tire is always different than the inflated overall diameter so the OD could be 27.1" if the tire is brand new, properly inflated and not bolted to the car and in ideal environmental conditions (temp, RH, barometric pressure, elevation, etc.).
