Default I've seen the light.

When the car was first introduced last year, I HATED it! I spent countless hours despising Lexus for degrading such a nice body style.

After I've seen a few in person and seen what can be done after mods. I am in LOVE!

I take back all the negative comments, this car is HOT!

Me 2. Before I traded in my 2GS I was hating on the 3GS as well.

With mods (tinted windows, nice wheels, aero kit, lowering if RWD) the car can
look really really awesome.

Just had mine washed and it looks killer.

Too bad it only stays clean for 5 minutes.

Happy you saw the light~ It was clear to me from the start that the 3rd gen was a much better car all away around. I can see not wanting to let go of the 2nd gen design though, it was a fab car and ruled its time. Even though the 2nd gen was such a beautiful car it did need a face lift and the 3rd gen changes were exactly what it needed, a kick in the patootie.

Is yours black? I would either get Cinnabar (dont know what the new color is called), Silver, or Black.

I think Lexus used up all the L-Finesse on the 3GS and 2IS. The 2007 ES and LS ( maybe they have to be seen in real life to be appreciated ) aren't nearly as nice looking as the 2006 GS and IS. IMHO, I think the 3GS is the nicest looking Lexus ever made and the 2IS is a close second.

Yeah, the 2IS is very nice! With the 3GS, I would have to replace the grill thought. The emblem on the rear is fine but that GIGANTIC Lexus "L" on the grill would make me feel like Flava Flav with a big *** clock on my chest.

I agree the 3GS is a beautiful car especially with a few mods..........BUT I still feel that the 2GS is a much better design overall. Besides the MB CLS and Maserati Quartoporte, nothing can beat a modded 2GS in terms of styling IMO.

My next door neighbor has a Nero Maserati Quattroporte Executive GT and it's not that nice looking IMO.

They call it Flint Mica. It is a dark gray color. It is a PITA to keep clean,
though not as bad as black I am sure...

The CLS is my dreamgirl but I'm learning that the general maintainance is $$$ compared to a Lexus.

I've seen a lot of cheesy 2GS'. I wonder what can be done to a 3GS to make it look worse than factory. The goal in moddin gis to improve on factory but you KNOW there is that person out there determined to fit it with 24" chrome-spinners.

Im with you Darius. When it first came out I wasnt feelin it at all. Now that they are starting to introduce some bodykits that look halfway decent, lowering the GS and nice wheels I think it is appealing to me more and more. One of these is definately in my future in the flint mica color but for now I am still in love with my 2GS
