Default GS 350 - When?

I'm seriously considering an IS350, but fear that the back seat won't be quite big enough for my use. I'd like to consider the GS350, but can't find any official word on when it will be introduced.

Any sources out there?

LOL, we are all guessing this fall, as a 2008 model. Nothing official yet.

There's enough people knowing about the GS350 already without any official announcement from Lexus lol

I don't think they're gonna release it this year. It seems like Lexus has announced their 2007 major lineup changes; RX (new engine), LS (complete re-design), ES (re-design) and GS450h (hybrid). The GS350 will probably be released next year as a 2008. Word from some local dealers is that it's not releasing this year.

If Lexus were to officially announce that the GS 350 is coming out this fall as a MY 2007 model, they would cannibalize 2006 GS 300 sales. Lexus will officially announce the 2007 GS 350 in August IMHO.

There is no way the gs350 will be a 2007 model, it will be a 2008 model, this is what is going to be the mid model cycle change to pick up sales. The gs300 sells itself as is, do you guys really think the average gs buyer wants 280 horses versus 250 horses, half a second off the 0-60.....nor will it be released at the end of this year as a 2008, 2008 cars dont come out in 2006. Maybe April -Jun 07....

Correct me if I am wrong, but in 2005, the GS was sold as a 2006.

So its now 2006, they are still 2006 GSs? Or are they 2007 models?

So I figured the GS 350 would be an 08 by then.

Course I could be way off

they are still 06 right now, mike sorry but you were confused. the 06 gs was released early 05, but even till now, you are still getting a 06 gs. and that won't change until this fall

hm...is the GS350 going to have the same HP as the IS350 and will it be the same speed from 0-60 in 5.3s? I would think that the GS350 would be slower than the IS350 due to the weight but maybe they could tune the GS350 differently...I dunno...anybody have an idea?
