I'm not a strong believer in "limited time deals", especially when it comes to high ticket items. If they are willing to do the deal on Dec 31, they will be just as willing on Jan 1.
I agree, but sometimes they will sell out of the car/color/options you want. Same as shopping at Nordstrom's, you go the first day of sale there's lots of selection and on the last day there's nothing you want.
Also, fyi December to Remember goes on until January 3rd.
I know what you are saying, but it is in the lease details that I am talking about, not the price of the car. Most people on here have noted how "tight" Lexus lease rates are, and I believe that during this time of year that Lexus loosens things up a bit on the lease figures.
Either way, I will be able to get the car for the same price as quoted after December is over, it's just if I want to go through Lexus Credit the payment is going to be higher.
Huh?? You lost me, how is the lease payment higher in Jan vs. Dec? The money factor isn't going to change. Lexus will hold it until at least after the sale ends and I hear it's not that low anyway.

If it's not that low, fine. That's the reason I'm asking. But I'm not quite sure how I lost you. It is my understanding that the DTR promotion is making the lease details more enticing right now. After DTR is over, they will return to what they were. It's not the price of the car that is going up, it's the lease rates. You with me?
I meant you lost me because I heard the super low deals were on the ES and RX models, not so great on GS so you will be okay whether you get it in Dec or in Jan.
Now it makes sense.
usually dealers have a few banks' rates competing for each deal, so the dealer can quote you the best payment bank. you can ask them for details and see if you can do better on your own or thru a credit union.
if it goes thru a dealer generally they set up everything for you as if Lexus financed it themselves, so there is no big difference. if you go elsewhere, you will have to follow the bank's instructions.
upon return of the car, i believe US Bank will contact me a few months in advance to determine what i want to do (return vs. buy) and then set up inspection notice to come do the physical walkthrough before the lease is up, and they will let me know what to do with it when it's done. most of the time you can drop it off at a local dealer.
Cool. SO you went through Lexus? Or did you go to US Bank first to start the process?

Lexus. Glendale took care of everything. I was going to lease thru Lexus Financial, but by the time the car arrived, the rates were not as good, and US Bank was more competitive, even with a disposition fee. So I just went with them instead.
