I think it's called the pneumatic trunk/door closer???.
The automatic closer is when the trunk is wide open and can be closed with the push of a button, as in the RX, S class, and 7 series.
But anyways, for any and probably all cars, when the engine dies on "D", you just put it in "N" and it re-start up again ( not sure for vehicles with smart-key).
So what was the topic again?
