dropped the car off so we'll see what's up w/ it tomorrow morning...apparently when the VSC went, it tripped the CEL and the circle w/ the ! in the middle...if you're going to do it do it right! for now i'm tooling around in an RX330 w00p w000p

Check
Engine
Light

Sometimes a loose gas cap or bad o2 sensor.
Best they pop up within the first few month/miles than later.
"Defective" electronics usually fail VERY early.

we'll see...i know on my previous car if the ambient temp inside my garage differs too much from the outside temp it'll throw a CEL but usually goes away after it's been outside for a bit. But this is weird...i'll just have to wait to see what's up w/ it.

so i talked to the service advisor and so far it's the cam position sensor that's screwy or the wiring that goes to it. They're looking into it...but how would that make the VSC pop too? Weird.

The same way that an O2 sensor knocks my ES300's ABS out

You will be surprised to know that a lot of issues can trip the VSC light. If you unplug your maf, your VSC/CEL lights will go off. If you unplug the brake fluid sensor, your VSC light will go off. If you forget to put the toilet seat down after your done, your VSC light will go off. The VSC lights seems to be one cry baby.
