Those must be 19's on the white one, the black Work wheels. They look kinda small but still hot. Really hot. The car is sweet and classy.

My wheels are 35 offset and that puts them right at the fender without sticking out past it. If you're gonna go staggered somewhere around 44 offset on a 10 in wide rear wheel would do the trick.

i am still confused why people keep using 245/35 in front. the front tire is bigger than the rear tire. it looks strange. you can tell clearly on the gray one that the front tire has a larger sidewall then the rear. looks funny, yet people continue to do it. I think people are just following, bec if they looked it up they would realize the tire diamerter is out of spec and largerr than the rear. Im going with 255/30 and 275/30. it will look better and its in spec. plus why would one put the same width on as stock. if your getting wheels, you want added grip, not just larger wheels. plus the gs is an understeering queen. it needs more front grip. every lexus dealership in town puts dubs on a gs in the showroom . the only size i have ever seen used was 255/30/20. even the guys at the rim places I have checked out have said that 245/35 is to big . You can return tire so i think Im sticking with the 255/30. if there is any rubbing then i will go with the 245/30 then maybe a 245/35

^ you're running a 255/30/20 front? that sounds wide. Your second sentence is confusing. "the front tire is bigger than the front tire" did you mean bigger than the rear?

I agree with you that 245-35 is taller than 275-30. More people are going away from that combination. Myself, I did 245-35 all around because I didn't want the different diameter tires this time. There is a little rubbing that I can live with. I thought 245-30 was too skinny, I like meat on the bones. Lot's of guys are now doing 255-30 and it seems to work well. Next time I go staggered, that's wha I'll be wearing, 255-30 and 295-25.
The great thing about modding is you can do your own thing. Don't criticize too hard until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes.

Thanks for the vote of confidence man, and I agree about doing your own thing. Im going to run 255/30 front, but can you run a 295/25 in the rear? will that fit without modification to fenders and wheel wells? the set up that you are talking about would look insane. the front of the car can handle 10mm wider thats not too wide. all the area lexus dealers use that size

just talking about tire size is pretty pointless, to be honest.... if you have 245/35 and 275/30, pure math wise yes the front is larger. however if you put the 245 on 9 and the 275 on 10, it actually works out pretty well, coz' the front will stretch a bit more than the rear, balancing them out

if you put them on 8.5 and 10, then yes, the front will start to look "thicker".

for 245/35 to match up well, you need 285/30 in the back. but 285/30 on 10 imho sometimes is too wide. i would want to have 10.5 in the back before i put on 10.5

putting same width front as stock isn't that big of a deal, most of the traction is done by the rear. turn off your vdim and you know what's oversteer. plus if you get good grip tires, even same size front will make one heck of a difference already.

wheel setup is an art, not just math...
