Is there any way to find that out in the new GS?

It also took me a second to figure out what he was saying.

You push the info button and there should be a trip section that should to the trick

I'm not sure, but this new Nav system has so many features I think it can make me a cup of coffee in the morning. Talk to someone in the 2nd.

I don't think it show the length of time of a trip but it does show average speed, distance and cruising range.

Given average speed and distance you could always compute the trip time. Of course, shutting the car off for a while resets the trip doesn't it?

No, I think it keeps it in its memory, just like a Nav destination. I think

Yes! you can compute as follows:

Trip distance -:- Avg MPH = # Hrs (aka, Trip Time)

No, my experience is that it resets after refueling.

If you're using the NAV and you input your destination...once the NAV has calculated your route it will estimate the amount of travel time remaining....Do you see this on the screen above or right below (i forget) the number of miles remaining?

you can do this, but it's not terribly accurate b/c the Nav's trip time is calculated on some avg speed on local vs. highway. if you end up driving faster or slower, the Nav will recalculate (invisibly) as you are driving to catch up or slow down, so you never really know what the actual drive was. for instance, i just went to LA the other day, and the time shows 2 hours 15 min, but i actually made it in 2. but you wouldn't know that from the Nav, it will elapse time faster than real time to catch up. you can adjust the local/freeway avg speeds, but it's still hard to gauge b/c of traffic conditions.
