friend try to be the first in taiwan to have rims on the new 430. No one has done it yet.
20x10 with offset 30 dont fit so far, serious rubbing issue with 285/30/20 tires.
Looking at rims with 35 or higher offset right now. Will report status as we go along.
New 430 got some serious brakes:
Nice looking M3s are everywhere in Taipei:
no problem. i am not that good in the 3gs offset setup at this point neither. just from what i read the setup is very close that on the 2gs. since i know relatively more on the 2gs so i just mentioned about what i know
actually, no one i know, including myself has less than 19s in Taipei. The roads here are actually better than L.A in most respects, since speed is usually low here, bent rims dont occur too often. The 430 is about 3 million NT, or a little less than $US100k here.

20"s in Taiwan, damn! where does he live? my cousin bent like 2 18"s on his Impreza GT and he lives in Taipei.
sorry, no. But the caliper itself look bigger than the old 430.
definitely bigger, the 2gs430/300 has the same brakes as that on the 3gs300 i believe. and the brakes on the new 3gs430, i don't think they are supra tt units. they don't look the same
I have all chrome Davin Revolution 6.1's (spinners) in 20x8.5 (+32) and 20x9.5 (+42). The rears sit just about perfect, and the fronts sticks out a little too much (about a 1/4 inch). I would mill the fronts down a bit (another 6mm), but then the spokes would not clear the GS 430's large front calipers. The rears fit perfect (w/o a drop). If you are gonna lower it, than go with 20x8.5 +38 front & 20x9.5 +45 rear. That would be perfect.

Correct, I would say they are in size to the 4 caliper units used in the LS 400/430.
