Yeah, I've been seeing pics of the new upcoming E-Class for some time now.. They do a have a few simulates but ofcourse our 3rd takes the cake.. But the upcoming E55 is a whole different story.. I almost bought a E55 instead of my 3rd gen.. If the salesman would have gone anywhere under $80,000. I would have went for it..

 

I'm sure the real thing won't look like that. The front is a modified GS and the rear looks just like th new Hyundai Sonata. Not flattering IMO as it doesn't "blend" well from front to rear.

I agree, it's reminicent of Audi.

 

Both cars are my favorite style wise. I liked the previous E, the current E, IMO is gorgous, even more so with the AMG kit or the E55. The proportions are damn near perfect.

Lexus has taken Benz styling cues before.

 

yeah, the E-Class is right there with my love for GS's. The only thing it has over our Lex's though is *P*O*W*E*R*!!!!! I mean c'mon now, when I went to go test drive the E55 a few months ago the speedo was jumping like it was a tachometer.. Ridiculous power.. I wish those ballz were sitting under my hood..

 

Wow the rear of the new E...that's gonna take some time to understand it. It's like an Audi A6 meets older VW Passat and LS400?
