My understanding is that the standard audio system in the GS 300 recognizes Dolby Digital music CDs (5.1) and that the Levinson recognized DTS. However, I tried 2 different Dolby Digital CDs and neither were read at all...not a sound. They were The Best of REM and LEad Zeppelin How the West Was Won. Any ideas?

 

There really aren't any Dolby Digital CDs. The standard system has a standard CD player, while the ML system has a CD/DVD player that handles Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks on DVD-V discs.

 

I guess the salespeople don't know everything. Now I do have a couple of DD Cds that are open I will have to get Tower to take back.
