Bought a GS3 Yesterday
GS3 RWD, silver, gray leather, nav/lev, sunshade, vented seats, parking assist, yadda yadda.
Traded in my '05 RX, purchased in Nov 04, it had 3,715 miles on it <== although a nice vehicle, still felt like a homely machine after 2 SC coupes and a GS. I had to go back to a sedan...and wow this is definitely a sedan.
Test drove it at noon, bought it within 45 minutes. Dealer really gave me a good deal on the trade, a nice healthy discount as far as I can tell. They had 5 or 6 on the lot, all equipped exactly alike. No AWD which i sorta wanted but dealer says they only make 1 AWD for every 25 RWDs. So for those 2.25 days we have snow/ice each winter in NC, I'll hitch a ride. And hell, I just couldn't wait any longer.
I had the Levinson on the '01 GS, didn't get it on the RX, and I was always sorry. The Lev has me totally spoiled.
Put the last 'Star Wars' dvd in the system, and you will experience the incredible surround sound...better than my home Bose system (which up until now I thought was the s**t). Oh yeah, don't forget to also put on the parking brake or you won't see the video.
Lastly, be sure you walk up to the car at night, somewhere very dark. The greetings you get from the pale blue pin spot lighting (under the outside mirrors, for example) will knock yer socks off. It's futuristic, as is this car.

So did the dealer take anything off MSRP?
