Not sure if my trunk is defective or not, but it feels really heavy. My gf broke her finger nails once trying to open it. Took it to the dealership. They said it was normal.

You're supposed to grab the inside handle to close the trunk. And when you do that, a comfortable pressure applied wouldn't close the trunk but would engage the trunk closer.
