Side marker ligths?

Side marker lights?

As I was looking throught photos from Geneva, I noticed that in the pictures, the GS430 had side markers?

Why doesn't the production GS have this?

Side Markers required in Europe

I agree and would welcome sidemarkers on all of our cars. It kind of goes with the daytime running lights theme. When you are converging on a three lane highway the side markers tell everyone your intentions if they are next to you.

Those are European style side markers. The US requires amber side markers in front of the wheel. The new GS has them integrated into the front headlight unit as you can see in this pic.
