This link was posted in another thread. Gs300/430 Product Information It's on page 10, under accessories and it reads :
Alloy Wheels
- 2 distinctive styles: 18” Machine Tourmaline or 18” racing style G-Spider
- Precision crafted to Lexus’ strict engineering specifications to provide superior balance and a smooth ride
One of these threads (Akbergg) also mentioned that the GS300 would have the 430's rims as an option. Can anybody confirm that? If I go with the 300, I would want the 430's rims. Please let it be true....and if it is, how much?
yES IT IS true my friend. It is not available on the AWD...thats what flip was saying...but flip confirmed that the 18in wheels would be optional on the RWD GS300. I also confirmed this at the housotn auto show that i went to...all the dealer reps told me the same thign and the "product specialist also said that it was true.
I think its safe to say that it is a done deal =)
i want to put the 18in wheel son the GS300 i am getting, but if its a lot of money to dish out then im not goign to bother.
I don't know about the rest of the United States, but here in the Western Area, "17's come on the GS300 and "18's on the GS430. You cannot swap. Please check with your local dealer for more information on what option choices you can get.
Also, the "Machine Tourmaline" looks like the stock wheel that is already on the car.
"G-Spider" looks like a mesh wheel.
Only "18's are available on both and the "18's are only available on the GS430.

I don't see or hear any solid confirmation that Lexus will have an optional 18" rim on the GS300. It's all 17" around and be happy that it's not a standard 16"!
It make sense that the GS430 should have the 18" option, since it was done in the past from 16 to 17" for only a couple of hundred dollars!
It would be nice to have a 18" rim upgrade for the GS300 from Lexus (at that great Lexus upgrade price), but it looks like you will have to go aftermarket for 18's on a GS300 even if RWD.
I hope I can be proven wrong on this, however if LONGO LEXUS doesn't have any indication of an 18" rim for a GS300, I would have to say it's not looking good!
