How are the GS300 AWD specs better than the RL ones?
Interesting that the GS300 RWD and AWD times supposedly differ by only 0.1 seconds. I find that hard to believe. Where are these numbers coming from, Chu?
according to that info the awd has a 4.1 differential and the rwd has a 3.909, so maybe that would explain it.
**Just to clarify to everyone here, all of the dates posted here doesn't pertain to US Lexus distribution.**
The MCV30 aka 2002 ES300 came out in Fall of 2001. The MCV31 ES330 came to us in Sept 2003 as a 2004 model which is the 3rd production year of the current ES.
: i think the gs350 and gs460 will be released for the 2007 model year as posted by ChuH. Lexus is releasing the 2006 models early in 2005 to get 1 1/2 year long sales cycle. Lexus USA will try to squeeze out all the "must have/can't wait dollars" out of buyers with the 2006 models, then they have to release the higher performance models in 2007 to compete with BMW and MB.
We should boycott the purchases of the 2006 gs(s) until 2007 to fight against this type of marketing and sales plots against GS diehards.
I read all of this talk of 1/4 miles times and think - 90%+ of GS owners don't even know that is or care.
What they do know is lease rates and what others think of the L on the front grill.

sad but maybe true...
well, the fact is i don't think we are going to affect much on the sales, when it's pretty much known that the new GS is going to be such a hot item that a lot of people with money are just going to dump money on the car right the way
but imho, you are right, i wouldn't even consider any of the 06. must have some little problems here and there, less powerful engines, nah....
