Default Cargo Net, Hook Install Location, Pictures?

Hello Gang, My Trunk is pretty much sorted. I received the hardware and i washed a very oily and dirty cargo net. So I notice that on the edge of the fender liner there actually are TWO holes, I BELIEVE the top one is for a nylon screw, so I guess the bottom is for the cargo net mushroom hook?

Anybody have a picture of their set-up?

Thanks!

Paul

your car doesn't have a spot for them? mine are right at the edge of the trunk.

I'm restoring a repo car and in the right hand side....where i would screw the screw and then the mushroom hook, the metal base is just gone, it's not there, nothing....so it's been like ripped off....

the screw threads are part of the mushroom hook, and it looks like it threads into a plastic insert in a hole in the trunk wall, at least on my car.

So i took another look-see and I think I found a work around..... There is another bracket that faces inward, so I was able to use the hook hardware and mount them there. I will have to find a larger nylon screw for that hole that I left there. Overall I need to take off the the latch cover plate cause I snapped it in before tighening up the carpet liners... and that thing is really tight in there. Didn't have my pry tool on hand so....some other time...
