Default Driver seat height

Is there any way to gain around an extra inch of headroom by modifying the seat? Half of my hair is in the headliner after driving.

Looking at the rail on the seat (I’ve had mine out before) I don’t think there’s a way to modify them to lower the seat outside of the factory settings. You could see about getting a thinner seat cushion to replace the current one or look at a quality aftermarket seat, although you would potentially lose the electric functions (if you couldn’t get the factory bracket mounted to the new seat) and airbag for sure.

Another option is looking at the seat dimensions of seats from an RC as the brackets and electronic connectors are pretty much standard across multiple models and years. Then you’d be doing an oem plus swap and be able to keep the electronic functions as well as airbag.

I'm actually currently looking for front buckets out of a GSF, RCF or RC350 to swap into mine. Would be just a matter of re-pinning the connectors so everything works.

Hope this helps a little bit.
