Seat swap

Hi,

Has anyone tried swapping the front seats in a 3GS?I dream of swapping to 4th-generation seats, but I don’t know if the mounts will fit.

They should be the same bracket dimensions, I have a couple buddies that work at Toyota (mechanics) and I was asking them about GSF or RCF seats going into my 2006. They said all I’d really have to worry about is repining the connectors to have all the electrics work. I saw another thread somewhere where a fella did a swap from an RCF into his second gen is and all he had to do was repin. Brackets are shared across multiple models to save build cost and such. Wouldn’t hurt to take measurements just to be on the safe side and confirm mount locations,
